Our beautiful small town is located in central  Vermont,  Just about 2 miles south of Interstate 89 (exit 10).  The town of Duxbury is nestled between two Green Mountains ridges.  About 7 miles north of main street is Camels Hump, and Mount Mansfield is to the north east.

Duxbury, Vermont [incorporated in 1763] is located between Waterbury, VT to the north and Moretown, VT to the south. Vermont Route 100 passes through the eastern area of Duxbury and the nearest Interstate is Exit 10 on I-89.

With a population of 1,300 +/-, Duxbury is home to Crossett Brook Middle School and Harwood Union High School. Moose Meadow Lodge and Grunberg Haus are bed & breakfast inns located in Duxbury.
