Duxbury Cemetery Commission Meeting Minutes
January 25, 2006

Meeting called to order at 5:06 at the Town Office.
 
Present:  Greg Trulson, Stephanie Koonz, Kim Greenwood

Secretary’s Report
Minutes for Oct 26, 2005 reviewed and approved with changes. 

Treasurer's report 
The treasurer’s report was read and approved.

Old Business
Greg has plaque for Landon Hayden 

The two stones have arrived at the town garage.  They have been measured and Philips and Landon-Hayden and decided to go with bronze plaques instead of purchasing letters for the names.  Greg met with North Barre Granite who will put the plaques out to bid and the commission will accept the lowest bid.

Next years finances were discussed 

Discussion on ceremony at Crossett Hill next year.  We will solicit volunteers at Town Meeting.  Greg will get a blowup of bridge we plan to build in June to display at Town Meeting. The commission would like to collaborate with Duxbury Historical Society on the ceremony.  We will also have a table with the plaques available for viewing if the plaques are available for viewing by then.

Next meeting: talk about plans for next year.   

(Note:  We are curious what the principle is, Greg will find this out and what are our options to do with it)
