Duxbury Cemetery Commission Meeting Minutes
March 22, 2006

Meeting called to order at 5:00 

Present:  Stephanie Koonz, Greg Trulson, Kim Greenwood

Secretary’s Report
Minutes for the Feb. 22, 2006 meeting were read and approved.  Kim will update the website with our recent minutes.

Treasure's report 
A column has been added to the financial spreadsheet to reflect interest accrued on the accounts. The treasurer’s report was read and approved.

Crossett Hill Dedication Ceremony
We need to get in touch with Donnie Welch to see if we can piggy-back on their advertisement for their picnic and have a joint celebration.  Greg will call him and present our idea to the Historical Society.

Phillips and Landon-Hayden Markers
The committee filled out the permit application for the Vermont Agency of Transportation for authorization to remove the rock from Route 100.  Stephanie will file the application.

Greg submitted an order for the plaques with Judy of North Barre Granite who had the best rate.  They will mail us a proof for approval.

Vermont Cemetery Association
The spring meeting will be held on April 12.  All commissioners will attend at the Elks Club in Burlington.

Other Business
A book is being written on interesting memorials or events surrounding a death and we are asked to get listings to the author for her investigation.

Next meeting
The next meeting will be held April 26, 2006 at 5:00 at the Town Offices.
