Duxbury Cemetery Commission Meeting Minutes
June 28, 2006

Meeting called to order at 5:00 p.m..

Present:  Stephanie Koonz, Greg Trulson, Kim Greenwood

Secretary’s Report
Minutes for the May, 2006 meeting were read and approved with changes.  

Treasurer's report 
The treasurer’s report was read and approved.  
Greg will pay the Vermont Humanities Council bill for processing the Howard Coffin Grant.  

Crossett Hill Dedication Ceremony
The sixty-foot puncheon was built on June 20, 2006.  The crew consisted included Donnie Welch, Dave Rogers, Ed and Margorie Gormel, Greg, Stephanie and Kim.  It was completed in six hours and looks fantastic!

Stephanie has found Taylor Scribner to play the bugle at the dedication.  She is still working on finding a drummer.

Kim will get the electronic version of the invitations from the Vermont Humanities Council.  Stephanie and Greg will coordinate on the invitations and create them so that we can mail them out the week of July 17.  The list of invitees was split up for each commissioner to send invitations to.

The ramps to the new puncheon will be built by the commission on July 19, 2006 using lumber from Stephanie and Kim.

Phillips and Landon-Hayden Markers
Judee says the plaques are in production.  

Next meeting
The next meeting will be held July 26, 2006 at 5:00 at the Town Offices.
