Duxbury Cemetery Commission Meeting Minutes
September 26, 2007
	
Meeting called to order at 5:35 p.m..

Members Present:  Stephanie Koonz, Greg Trulson, Kim Greenwood

Secretary’s Report
The Secretary’s report was read and approved.

Treasurer’s Report 
The Treasurer’s report was read and approved.  Greg will pay Dave for mowing this week.

Memorial Cleaning
The cleaning at Phillips is completed and the stones look great.

Mr. Walbridge provided us with an estimate for the repair and cleaning of Landon Haydon.  We will request this amount in our budget for next year.

A letter will be drafted and sent to Mr. Walbridge outlining the specifics of the quote so as to provide clarification and expectations for all parties.  We will also request a quote for the Crossett Hill Cemetery.

Burials
Roy Walker was buried.  Thelma Reynolds was buried. Stephanie attended both burials on behalf of the Duxbury Cemetery Commission.

Associations
The Vermont Cemetery Association will hold its fall meeting on Oct. 4, 2007 in Montpelier, VT.  A motion was made to approve the expenditure for $52.50 for attendance at the meeting.  All Commissioners plan to attend.

Phillips Access
The access to Phillips Cemetery is still restricted as a result of the road resurfacing project this summer.  Stephanie will contact the crew working on the road to finalize the access.  

New Business
Kim ordered a CD-Rom of a possible computerized record keeping program from Promtem Software.

Next meeting
There will be no October or November meeting.  The next meeting will be held December 6, 2007 at 5:00 p.m. at the home of Stephanie Koonz.
