Duxbury DRB meeting Oct.9th 2007

Members attending: Chair Randy Berno, Eric Ladensack, Wayne Walker, Ken Griffith lll

Meeting called to order @7:02 pm by Chair Berno.

1st order of business: Approving Minutes of prior meeting. They were approved with corrections. Approved by all.

All people that were to testify were sworn in.

2nd order of business :Permit : Permit # 07-045 Robert Adams 2 lot Subdivision on Ward Hill. Proof of mailing were given to clerk.
Peter Lazarchak gave the presentation for the property owner.    He showed the site map 
with the 2 lots. Lot 1 was proposed for 9.7 acres (which the applicant plans on keeping)
Lot 2 would consist of 17 acres which will be for sale. The property is presently going through Act 250 review for approval. Wayne made a suggestion to property owner to have the deed state that down cast cutoff lighting be used for any out side light
. Mr. Adams said he would do that.
Public portion was closed @ 7:11 pm.
The chair said he would entertain a motion.
Wayne made the motion to approve the 2 lot subdivision and have it in deed for the 17 acre lot  to use full cutoff downcast lighting. 
Zeb 2nded the motion
All board members voted in favor of the motion with the condition of act 250 approval.

3rd order of business: Permit # 07-043 Kevin Lavanway- 2 lot subdivision  on Route 100
Proof of mailings were given to clerk.
Kevin was asked to explain what he wanted. He said he wanted 2 lots. Lot 1 to be 2.5 +/- 
Lot 2 would be 7.5 acres. He showed the site map and explained where the boundaries would be.
No questions from the board so Randy said he would entertain a motion.
Ken made the motion to approve 1 lot off the 10 acre parcel that Kevin has. This will create 2 lots. 1 lot of 2.5 +/- acres and the other of 7.5 +/- acres.
Zeb 2nded the motion. All voted in favor of motion. Permit approved
4th order of business:
Harwood sign committee asked for some guidance from the board for a sign. They want an informational sign by RT 100 so local residents will know what activities will be going on @ the school. 
After some guidance from the board the committee will go back and draft something up. This will possibly have down cast lighting and a plywood replica for the site walk to show the approximate location.
No other business.
Motion made by Ken for adjournment- 2nded by Eric. All voted in favor of it.
