Duxbury DRB meeting Oct.16.2007

Meeting called to order @7:02 pm by Chair Berno.

All people that were to testify were sworn in.

1st order of business : Permit # 07-048 Ronald  Blake Conditional use for a storage lot 
to place 300 yards of sand and a load of gravel primarially for winter use.
Louis explained that he wanted to store the sand closer to where he intended to use it.
He said that the sport on the Blake property was ideal for his intended use.He has cleared a spot out, put in Berms for erosion, and will have some planting for screening. He said he wanted power for the spot for his equipment and sercurity lighting.Also no fuel would be stored on the lot.This will be a year around business but will be used mainly in the winter.
Joann asked if he were going to use salt and he said no.He also stated that he was going to use his 1 ton truck and not his big truck for the business and it wouldn’t generate much 
Traffic.
Public portion was closed @ 7:21 pm.

The chair said he would entertain a motion.

Wayne made the motion to approve  permit # 07-048  sand and gravel storage on Stevens Brook Road on Ron Blakes property.The sand was not to exceed 300 yards at any time  
There would be no fuel stored on the lot. Storage light will be full cutoff downcast motion dector .Business to be operated mainly in the day time but will be operated @ night when needed. Will use small equipment during the hours of 9pm-6am for noise control.
Martin 2nded the motion. All voted in favor of permit.  

2nd order of business: Approving meeting minutes. Read by all and approved
no new business.
Wayne made motion to adjourn at 7:50- Eric 2nded  and all approve. Meeting adjourned.
