MINUTES OF THE DUXBURY SELECTBOARD
October 31, 2007


Members present:  JoAnn Berno, Kym Andrews, Dick Charland

The meeting was called to order at 7:30 a.m. by JoAnn Berno. 

On October 31, 2007, the Duxbury Selectboard held a special meeting to discuss a petition presented to the Selectboard.  After some discussion the following motions were made and passed.

Dick Charland made a motion that we hold a special town meeting on Monday, December 10th, at 7:30 p.m.  Kym Andrews seconded the motion, and all were in favor of it.  The purpose of this special town meeting is pursuant to a petition presented at the Duxbury Town Clerk’s Office on 10/16/07 at 12:10p.m. and certified as having the required number of signatures the following request has been made.  “For the presentation to the town of finding of the Town Office committee so that the Town may act upon such findings and direct the Committee, by vote, regarding further action to be taken by the Committee for the good of the Town.”

The meeting was adjourned at 7:35 a.m.
