Planning helps guide how a community grows and develops, and Duxbury’s zoning administrator, volunteer boards, and commissions are engaged in the community as they consider the needs of all of our residents in the planning process.

Development Review Board (DRB)

The role of the Development Review Board (DRB) is to hear and review applications for development under the applicable regulations that are forwarded from the zoning administrator. Meetings of the five-member board are scheduled as needed. They are usually scheduled for the second Tuesday of the month. During the review process they can only approve applications that comply with the applicable bylaw or state law, and the board can only levy conditions that are permitted under the bylaw.  Contact Maureen Harvey, the DRB Board Clerk, at DuxburyDRB@gmail.com or 802-244-6660.
